How Dylan & Samantha Dreiling created Ananda Elixirs.
Ananda Elixirs began in a small kitchen with a passion for natural wellness. Sammi and Dylan combined their love for mushrooms and botanicals to create a delicious, health-boosting beverage. What started as a simple experiment quickly grew into a thriving brand. Today, we’re proud to lead the wellness beverage industry with products that delight and nourish.
In early 2021, our thriving wellness business, built over nearly a decade, collapsed with the faltering economy. Devastated by its sudden downfall and the unexpected loss of Sammi’s father, we found ourselves at a crossroads amidst new parenthood and turmoil. Seeking clarity, we took solace in our favorite remedy: long drives and deep conversations. During one of these rides, we asked ourselves, "What would we be doing if we were truly following our bliss?"
As we drove home, Dylan excitedly shared his fascination with functional mushrooms and proposed, “What if we could create a functional mushroom supplement that tastes so good you’d actually look forward to it every day?” With Sammi’s aversion to unappealing supplements in mind, this idea sparked our journey. Over the following months, Ananda Elixirs was born, culminating in the launch of our first product, Supershroom Soda, and marking the beginning of an exciting new adventure.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Sammi always dreamed of building something meaningful. She met Dylan in their previous business and after marrying and starting a family, they moved to Arizona, where Ananda Elixirs was founded.
For five years, they grew the brand in the U.S., always holding onto a vision: bringing Ananda home to Canada. In August 2024, with the right manufacturing partners in place, they felt it was time to say goodbye to the desert and hello again to the great white north.
Based in Ottawa once again, the founders are close to family and Canadians are loving Ananda Elixirs!

With an intimate knowledge of social media trends, and her gifts for cultivating deep connections, she is one of the driving forces behind our growth and expansion into new markets. When Lauren isn't connecting and collaborating, she can be found chillin' with her fur babies or adventuring with her fiancé Steven.
