What is Shroom Soda®?

Shroom Soda is a zero-sugar botanical drink concentrate crafted with mushroom extracts and natural plant flavours. It’s designed to mix with sparkling water or other beverages as a modern alternative to soda.

Is Shroom Soda a supplement?

No. Shroom Soda is a food product intended for enjoyment as part of a balanced lifestyle.

Are there psychedelic mushrooms in any Shroom Soda products?

No. Shroom Soda only contains mushrooms that have been traditionally used for centuries to support overall wellbeing. There are no psychedelic mushrooms in any of our products.

What are the benefits of Shroom Soda?

Ingredients & Product Questions

What mushrooms are included?

Each bottle contains extracts of Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Turkey Tail, and Cordyceps mushrooms.

Are the mushrooms organic?

Yes, we use organic mushrooms grown using sustainable agro-forestry practices (Oregon) or wild-harvested (Ontario) and organically grown Cordyceps (Utah). Sources may vary batch to batch depending on availability.

Why is there residue or sediment in the elixir?

A small amount of natural mushroom residue may remain from the extraction process. This is normal and reflects the botanical nature of the product.

How is Shroom Soda sweetened and flavoured?

Shroom Soda is sweetened with stevia and flavoured with naturally derived plant-based concentrates. Ingredients are non-GMO, vegan, kosher, and organic whenever possible.

Does Shroom Soda contain sugar or artificial ingredients?

No. Shroom Soda contains zero sugar and no artificial colours or preservatives.

How to Use It

How do I use Shroom Soda?

Add 1–2 droppers to sparkling water, still water, tea, coffee, or mocktails. Adjust to taste.

Do I have to dilute it?

Yes. Shroom Soda is a highly concentrated soda elixir and must be diluted. We recommend mixing it with sparkling water over ice.

Can I use it with still water instead of sparkling water?

Yes. When using still water and ice, we recommend using slightly less concentrate, as the flavour can taste stronger without carbonation.

How many servings are there per bottle?

Each 60 ml bottle contains about 30 servings, based on a recommended serving size of 2 ml. You may get more or fewer servings depending on your flavour preference.

Can I drink more than one serving per day?

Shroom Soda is designed for enjoyment as part of your daily routine. Individual preferences may vary, but we recommend up to 3 servings per day.

Taste & Flavours

Can this replace soda or alcohol?

Many customers enjoy Shroom Soda as a flavourful, zero-sugar alternative to soda or as a mocktail option in social settings.

Does Vintage Cola taste like Coke or Pepsi?

Vintage Cola is inspired by traditional cola flavours. Taste perception varies from person to person.

I don’t like sweet drinks. Which flavour should I try?

If you prefer a less sweet profile, Lemon Lime has the least stevia. Vintage Cola with a squeeze of fresh lemon is also popular for a more balanced taste.

Why does Lemon Lime look cloudy or have “floaties”?

This is normal. We use real lemons and limes, which can create natural pulp residue.

If you notice white clumps, this may be the stevia. Place the bottle in a hot cup of water for 10 minutes and it should dissolve again.

Alcohol Content & Safety

Does the product contain alcohol?

A small amount of alcohol is used during the extraction process. When mixed as directed, the final beverage contains approximately 0.12% ABV- Typically, under 0.5% ABV is considered a non-alcoholic beverage.

Is it safe to drink before driving?

Yes. The alcohol content is minimal and has no intoxicating effect when consumed as directed.

Can kids drink it?

We recommend consulting your child’s healthcare provider before use.

Is it safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we recommend consulting a healthcare practitioner prior to use.

Can I use this if I’m taking medication?

We cannot provide medical advice. If you are taking medication, we recommend consulting your healthcare practitioner before use. We suggest extra caution when using mushroom products alongside blood-thinning medications.

What if I experience an adverse reaction?

If hypersensitivity or an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a healthcare practitioner.

Storage & Shelf Life

Should I keep my elixirs in the fridge?

No. We recommend storing Shroom Soda in a cool, dry place, such as a pantry or cupboard.

What is the shelf life?

We recommend consuming within 1 year of purchase, 3 months of opening — though most people finish it much sooner 😉

Shipping & Availability

Is Shroom Soda made in Canada?

No. Shroom Soda is made in California. We are a Canadian Owned and operated business, headquartered in Ottawa, Canada!

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship within Canada and the USA.

Why does my order show shipped but the tracking hasn’t updated?

Shipping labels are sometimes created before courier pickup. If your tracking hasn’t updated after a few business days, please contact support and we’ll help.

Why is Cranberry Ginger unavailable?

Cranberry Ginger is currently out of stock due to high demand. A new batch is in production, but availability may be limited once backorders are fulfilled.

Bottles & Troubleshooting

My lid is stuck or spinning — what should I do?

Try using a rubber grip or elastic for extra traction. If the issue persists, contact support and we’ll help arrange a replacement.

Do you offer sample sizes?

Not at this time, but it’s something we’re exploring for the future.

Do you have a referral or affiliate program?
